Mapping the golf course

Shorehill Reports

We define course features using geofences overlaid onto satellite imagery imported into our cloud-based platform.

Shorehill Integrated Solution

We use autonomous drone flight to map each course with increased accuracy, importing the improved map into our system before geofencing course features.

Creating a facility-specific plan

We discuss the facility aims and expectations with all relevant parties before presenting a bespoke plan of action defining targets, priorities and data collection methods.

Data collection

Shorehill Reports

We create and distribute facility specific questionnaires and surveys using tablets and other mobile devices, and email chains. Data is collected and stored in our cloud-based platform where it can be compiled into hole or course-specific reports.

Shorehill Integrated Solution

We use a combination of smartwatches, mobile devices and email surveys to collect all relevant information as outlined in the facility plan. The inclusion of smartwatches as a means to collect data allows player shot patterns and pace-of-play data to be collected and monitored in real time in a non-invasive, intuitive manner. This information is stored in our cloud based platform and is readily available to all relevant parties throughout the data collection and analysis process.

Data analysis and conclusions

We impartially analyse and interpret all data collected and present our findings to the club. We will present all data in the context of the aims of the facility, its history and partners.

Further investigation and review

We continue to monitor and assess the performance of the golf course as changes are implemented. Throughout our relationship, we are always at hand to offer further advice, consultation and analysis, as well as having an extensive network of industry contacts to aid your facility in achieving its full potential.

Data storage

All data is safely stored in our cloud-based system and golfer information is anonymised for the purposes of data protection. Course-specific information can be accessed and re-examined long into the future; we would be glad to revisit reports retrospectively should a client desire.

"It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data"
